RRB Railway Exams are conducted by Railway Recruitment Board for filling vacancies in Indian Railways. RRB Railway Exams are conducted for wide range of job posts.

Recently, Railway has successfully conducted RRB Group D 2018 (CBT 1) exam in December 2018 for over one crore candidates. Now, RRB Group D result 2018 PDF and Cut Off for all zones has been released. We have updated the direct link to check the RRB Group D result and the RRB Group D cut off below.

The Railway has already released the RRB Group D answer key on 11th January 2019 for CBT 1. The result of RRB Group D, cut off marks, and scorecard for other zones has been released now. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released RRB Group D Physical Test Date 2019. The RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test will take place from 25th March 2019. The link to download the call letters for PET will get active soon. Please note that the exact time and venue will be mentioned on your Group D admit card for PET test.


The eligibility criteria for RRB  is:
In order to fulfill  eligibility criteria candidates should meet the parameters given below:
Nationality/ Citizenship: Any candidate who is a citizen of India or subject of Nepal/ Bhutan is eligible to appear for IBPS CWE PO exam. Also, candidates who are Tibetan Refugees and came to India before January 1, 1962, fulfill IBPS PO eligibility criteria. Apart from this, people of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan/ Burma/ Sri Lanka/ Kenya/ Uganda/ the United Republic of Tanzania/ Zambia/ Malawi/ Zaire/ Ethiopia/ Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling down in India are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Age Limit: 18 to 31 years.The lower and upper age limit indicated for a particular post(s) in the vacancy table will be reckoned as on 01.07.2018.The relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age for the following categories/communities is applicable subject to submission of requisite certificates.
For reserved categories, there is relaxation of upper age limit as follows:
1.SC / ST – 5 years
2.OBC – NCL – 3 years
3. Ex-Servicemen who have put in not less than six months continuous service after attestation – Up to the extent of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years
4.PwD – UR – 10 years
5.PwD – OBC (NCL) – 13 years
6.PWD – SC/ST – 15 years
For reserved categories, there is relaxation of upper age limit as follows:
1.SC / ST – 5 years
2.OBC – NCL – 3 years
3.Ex-Servicemen who have put in not less than six months continuous service after attestation – Up to the extent of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years
4.PwD – UR – 10 years
5.PwD – OBC (NCL) – 13 years
6.PWD – SC/ST – 15 years
If a candidate is eligible for relaxation of age on more than one ground, he/she would be accorded the highest of the age relaxations (not cumulative) for which he/she is eligible.
No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Non Creamy Layer) candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.
PWD candidates applying against UR vacancies will be allowed age relaxation applicable for UR PWD only.
NOTE: Candidates should note that the date of birth filled in this application should be same as recorded in the Matriculation /SSLC or an equivalent certificate. No subsequent request for its change will be considered.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have the Educational/Technical qualifications indicated against the notified posts in the CEN from recognized Board/NCVT/SCVT as on the closing date for submission of the ONLINE application. Refer to Annexure-A for the prescribed qualification against each of the posts. Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification SHOULD NOT apply. Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be accepted in lieu of course completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI. Also, Graduate Act Apprentice will not be accepted in lieu of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.

1.The selection process is subject to rules and regulations issued by Railway Board, Ministry of Railways m (Government of India) which includes reservation of jobs for Schedule caste (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), other backward classes (OBC), Ex Servicemen’s etc.
2.Employment Notifications calling for applications from eligible candidates are published in local News Papers Employment news / Rojgar samachar and an indicative advertisement is published in local newspapers.

3.The time period given to apply in response to notifications is not less than 30 days. The applications received in the time period prescribed are scrutinized with reference to criteria published in the notification.
4.Schedule of Written / On-line examination is also published in Newspapers and employment news / Rojgar samachar. Eligible candidates are informed of their date and centre of their examination by call letters.
5.List of Candidates successful in the examination is published in the newspapers, internet and successful candidates are also advised by post.
Candidates declared successful in Written / On-line examination are called for Aptitude test / Type Test / Documents verification / Interviews etc.
6.Viva-voce test (interviews) have been eliminated in most of RRB examinations.
7.Final Panel is then formed as per merit, requirement and final result is published in Employment news / Rojgar Sama char and intimation letters are sent to successful candidates advising them – their allotted Railways / Zone.

a. Mathematics:
Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
b. General Intelligence and Reasoning:
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
c. General Science:
The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level.
d. General Awareness:
Current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subjects of importance.

Exam Pattern

The selection process of RRB Group D candidates involves the following stages:
Stage 1: RRB Group D Computer Based Test (CBT)
Stage 2: RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage 3: RRB Document Verification

The CBT has four sections. The number of questions asked in each of these sections are tabulated below:

The total time duration for the CBT is 90 minutes.
There is penalty for incorrect answer in RRB Group D exam. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for incorrect answer.
RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test
The RRB Group D PET is just qualifying in nature. This means candidates will just have to clear this round and the marks won’t be considered for final selection of candidates. The PET is different for male and female candidates.

For PwD candidates, there is no Physical Efficiency Test. However, there are certain medical standards that they should meet, for which medical examination will be conducted for them.
RRB Group D Document Verification
Candidates, who qualify the RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test 2019 are then called for a Document Verification(DV) process. Under this process, a candidate needs to produce all the relevant documents, proving the eligibility and educational claims made in the Application Form. Candidates, who fail to produce the documents on the day of Document Verification are not given an extension in terms of dates and should bring their documents positively during the Document Verification day.

Application Form

The RRB Group D application form is to be filled up online on the official RRB website. The steps to apply for the exam are as under:
Step 1: Go to the RRB official website of the RRB region you want to apply for.
Step 2: Click on the link provide for “Railway Group D Recruitment Notification CEN 02/2018”.
Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and click on “Apply Online”.
Step 4: Click on “New Registration” if you haven’t registered already. Fill up all the required details – personal, academic, and contact details – in the respective fields.

Step 5: Upload scanned images of the following documents in the necessary format and size:
1. Color photograph of the candidate in JPEG format of size between 20 to 50 kb.
2. Category (SC/ST) Certificate (applicable for candidates seeking free travel pass) in JPEG format of size between 50 to 100 kb
3. Color photograph of Scribe (if applicable) in JPEG format of size between 20 to 50kb
Step 5: Make payment of the application form fee.
Step 6: Submit you RRB Group D application form.
Step 7: Take print out of your RRB Group D online application form for future reference.

Admit Card

Follow the steps tabulated below to download your RRB Group D Admit Card. RRB Railway Group D Admit Card will be available on the official RRB websites. It is highly suggested to download the RRB Group D Admit Card as soon as possible in order to avoid technical issues or rush problems in the last hours. Only those candidates will be able to download the online hall ticket, who have submitted their application form correctly. RRB Group D Admit Card 2018 will not send by post.

Step 1:Log on to the Railways official website, i.e., www.rrb.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on “Other RRBs” and select the RRB Region you have applied for.
Step 3: Click on the link provided to download your RRB Group D Admit Card.
Step 4: RRB Group D Online Exam Admit Card 2018 Login Page will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Enter your Registration Number and the DOB/Password in the specified fields.
Step 6: Later, click on “Login” Button.
Step 7: Finally, your RRB Group D Admit Card 2018 will appear on the screen.
Step 8: Download RRB Exam call letter PDF.
Step 9:Take a print of RRB Hall ticket for reference purpose.

After downloading the admit card, aspirants have to check all the details given is correct or not. If candidates found any discrepancy in it, they will immediately contact the exam conducting authority. The hall ticket is expected to have the following information.
